                                                                                                   Bathtub tips

  • Keep soaps and shampoo bottles off the tub. They get wet underneath and can cause the caulk to start developing mold.
  • Use Tilex (mold&mildew) to clean caulk. If the caulk does not come clean, the mold is in the caulk and it has to be replaced.
  • A shower head on a hose is a great tool for cleaning the tub and walls.
  • A small filter on the shower head (available at Lowes and HD) removes a lot of the hard water sediments that stay on the tub after a shower. Cleaning is easier and it feels better washing your hair & body with filtered water.
